Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026.

The short version

Apex Complex is a single-player game. It does not contact any server we own, does not collect analytics, and does not phone home. The game runs on your machine and your save data stays on your machine.

What we collect

We collect nothing through the game itself. Save files are stored locally. Settings are stored locally. No gameplay data is sent to us.

If you contact us for support via email or GitHub, we keep those messages for as long as it takes to resolve your issue. We do not share them.

Steam

The game is distributed through Steam, which handles purchases, downloads, cloud saves, achievements, and platform telemetry under its own privacy policy. We receive aggregated, anonymised data from Steam (sales volume, region, refund rate) — we do not see your Steam account or personal information. Steam's own privacy policy is at store.steampowered.com/privacy_agreement.

This website

This site is static HTML hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub receives basic server access logs (IP, user agent, referrer) as part of hosting. We don't set cookies, we don't load tracking scripts, and we don't use analytics.

Contact

Questions about privacy can go through the support form. Messages reach us directly; we don't pass them on to anyone else.
